Add Event

Click the New icon to start a new event.

Enter Event Data

1.  Common: The current screen shot.  Enter the basic text description of the event.

2.  Calendar: Add the dates, times and occurrences for the event.

3.  Subject: The title of the event as you want it to appear on the calendar.

4.  Categories: Select the category associated with the event.  For example, LIVE MUSIC for a night club.

5. Access Level: Select the access level.  PUBLIC is for SECTION access for everyone visiting your site.  REGISTERED is for registered users only.  SPECIAL is for special users registered under USER MANAGEMENT.

6.  Location and Contact Information: Enter the venue, address, or an other location description.  For the Contact Info:, enter the name and contact information for the contact person of the event.  Extra info is anything you would like displayed under the location and contact info.  For example, a disclaimer, or more details regarding contact option.


Set Event Dates & Times

1.  Duration: Set the event as an all day event or based on the 12 hour clock, am and pm.

2.  Start Date: Set the date and time for the start of the event.

3.  End Date: Set the date and time for the end of the event.  If there is no specific end time, check the box with that option.

4.  Repeat Type: By selecting one of the options, you can easily manage the occurences of your event.  For example, if an event happens every 3rd Tuesday of the month, instead of creating 12 events for the year, you can set the event to repeat monthly, Week 3, Tuesday.  See Managing Occurrences for details on setting reoccuring event listings.
