Adding a New Article

Step 1:

From the Content Tab, click the Article Manager option.

Step 2:

From the Article Manager screen, click on the New icon

Step 3:

In order to input information for a new article, add content to the following areas of the page.

1.  Title: Add the Title of the article

2. Section: Please select the appropriate Section as related to the article.  For more information regarding sections, please refer to Tutorial 4: Sections & Categories

3. Categories: Please select the appropriate Category as related to the related Section.  For more information regarding sections, please refer to Tutorial 4: Sections & Categories

4. Text Formatting: Use the text formatting tools as you would use them in a Word document.  These tools also allow for creating links and inserting images.

5. Text field: Enter your text here as though you would in a Word document.

6. Parameters: Set your parameters as desired.  Parameters include such items as published date, author name, etc.  Options include Use Global, Hide, Show.  View the Adjusting Article Parameter tutorial for more details.

7. Save: Click the save icon to save the file.
